QUALIFYING TRIALS For the 2026 Championship

to qualify for the 2024 Championship a dog must have a placement In one of the qualifying trials listed in the 24 months preceeding the drawing. Qualifying Trials must be a minimum of one hour heats.

Essential Data Forms MUST be received by the National Open Shooting Dog Championship Secretary prior to the drawing for dogs to be eligible. It is the responsibility of the dog owners and handlers to ensure this information is received. Events should add “A QUALIFYING TRIAL FOR THE NATIONAL OPEN SHOOTING DOG CHAMPIONSHIP” in their advertising.
